Partnership Manager (F/T)

Overview      

MLPB (www.mlpboston.org) believes in the power of justice to advance health. We equip health and human services teams with problem-solving strategies that disrupt the evolution of a person's unmet social, economic or environmental need(s) from developing into legal – and health – crises. Through robust group training and individual technical assistance support, we help workforce partners understand their unique capacities to unlock access to a range of health-promoting benefits, services, and legal protections – thereby advancing health equity.

As part of its training and technical assistance, MLPB maintains an email-based ‘legal triage’ system, which welcomes a high-volume of requests for consultations from MLPB’s workforce colleagues (based at 20+ organizations in MA and RI) who serve individuals and families experiencing unmet health-related social needs (HRSN).

MLPB is a fiscally sponsored organization of TSNE (www.tsne.org).


Responsibilities

Legal problem-solving technical assistance to workforce colleagues

  • Serving as first point of contact on MLPB’s email-based ‘legal triage’ system;
  • Assuring that responses are timely, empathetic, attentive to deadlines and key information needed, and effective in managing colleagues’ expectations re: next steps;
  • Effectively transitioning each consult to an MLPB Legal Advisor.

Quality Assurance and Improvement

  • Managing comprehensive, accurate and timely consult management documentation in a Salesforce platform;
  • Capturing data that help our team effectively communicate results and tell compelling stories;
  • Related periodic data cleaning in close partnership with MLPB’s Legal Advisors;
  • Preparing solid first drafts of reports for MLPB’s 20+ partners;
  • Contributing to research and evaluation activities.

Training/Interprofessional Education (IPE) Logistics Coordination

  • Managing training/IPE scheduling, materials/technology prep, continuing education processes, evaluation, and follow-up with partners;
  • Systematically inputting, synthesizing and analyzing pre-/post-training/IPE survey data;
  • Refining a cloud-based training/IPE database to better meet evolving goals.

General Organizational Support

  • Manage partner/stakeholder communication in connection with specific projects/initiatives;
  • Support planning and implementation of at least one major annual event;
  • Support development of a compelling Annual Report and related materials;
  • Miscellaneous / general non-profit “pitching in."

Qualifications:

We will consider exceptional candidates who demonstrate a strong combination of the specific qualifications and skills described below.

  • At least 2 years of professionally relevant experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including drafting and editing of stakeholder emails and reports
  • Strong task and project management skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel in particular), cloud-based document management systems (like Box) and case management platforms (like Salesforce).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in field relating to law, social work, community health, public health, or communications;
  • Experience with videoconferencing technology (like Zoom), marketing software (like Hubspot or MailChimp), with graphic design tools, and with presentation tools (like Prezi) – or willingness to learn.
